Budget NEGOTIATION
as a learnable skill
Most budget negotiations fail before the conversation even starts.
Xazytoy was built around a straightforward observation: professionals across industries routinely lose ground in budget discussions not because they lack authority, but because they lack preparation. Since 2020, we have run live webinars that address this gap directly — with structured frameworks, real case scenarios, and experts who have sat on both sides of the negotiating table.
How the LEARNING is structured
A webinar is only useful if the format serves the subject.
Budget negotiation requires practice with feedback, not passive listening. Every programme at Xazytoy is built around live interaction: participants work through negotiation scenarios in real time, receive direct input from the facilitator, and leave with documented approaches they can test in actual workplace situations.
Sessions are kept deliberately small to allow genuine dialogue. We do not record and replay — the live format is intentional because negotiation is a dynamic skill that needs a responsive environment to develop properly.
Each webinar centres on a realistic budget negotiation case drawn from procurement, project management, or finance contexts.
Facilitators bring direct experience from budget-intensive roles — not theoretical frameworks delivered at a distance.
Every session ends with a documented negotiation framework participants can adapt to their specific organisational context.

The people who TEACH here
Credentials matter less than context in negotiation education.
Our lead facilitator, Declan Ó Briain, spent over a decade working in public sector procurement before moving into professional training. He has sat in budget review meetings where the stakes were institutional — not hypothetical — and that experience shapes how sessions at Xazytoy are run. The emphasis is on what actually shifts outcomes, not what sounds credible in a slide deck.
The wider facilitator group brings backgrounds from healthcare administration, infrastructure project delivery, and corporate finance. Between them, they cover the negotiation contexts that most participants encounter in practice.

Lead Facilitator
Participants receive structured preparation templates before each session — covering stakeholder mapping, anchor-point setting, and concession sequencing — so the live time is spent practising, not introducing basics.
Every webinar includes at least one structured role-play segment where participants negotiate against a prepared counterpart. The facilitator pauses the scenario to offer real-time observations on positioning and language choices.
Within 48 hours of each live session, participants receive a written summary of the key decision points discussed, along with the scenario debrief notes. There is no recording — the summary is the deliberate alternative.
